The spec and MIS ICS specifies FrontCover and BackCover, probably for Partial Products but without definition.

I noticed an MIS using 'FrontCover' or a 4 page Cover in a Book. The MIS ICS specifies to use 'Cover' ProductType for bound work so is the FrontCover and BackCover only for unbound work? (loose binding, first and last pages?)

Or has it a special meaning for book products?

A definition was added in JDF 1.6 / XJDF

BackCover: The last page or sheet of a softcover book or magazine, commonly a heavier media.

FrontCover: The first page or sheet of a softcover book or magazine, commonly a heavier media.

The idea is that a FrontCover or BackCover may be two different Media. Any wraparound cover that is one physical piece including the spine should be marked as "Cover"
